A Question from one of our website Guests
|
The Question WHO TOLD YOU THAT THE KING JAMES VERSION IS THE ONLY ONE TO USE? WOULD YOU HAVE SCRIPTURE TO SUPPORT THAT? AND CAN YOU SEE THE TRUE WORD OF GOD - JESUS CHRIST - THE TRUTH, BY HIS SPIRIT, WRITTEN ON THE HEART, WHERE WE DON'T LEAN ON OUR OWN UNDERSTANDING BUT IN ALL OUR WAYS ACKNOWLEDGE HIM, THUS NOT STUDY ANY PARTICULAR BIBLE TO GAIN UNDERSTANDING BUT THRU SEEKING HIM WE MIGHT COME TO KNOW HIM, ONLY LATTER TO HAVE THE SCRIPTURE TO SUPPORT WHAT GOD HAD TAUGHT US? JUST A THOUGHT, IN LOVE. |

Our E-mail response
Dear Chad, We're glad that you are seeking out other true believers in Jesus Christ. What you see on our site is what we are all about. Our desire is to walk according to the pattern laid by Jesus and His Apostles in the written Word of God that is preserved in the King James Bible. We could not have seen the "true Word of God," Jesus Christ, without the written Word of God, as He was the Word before He became flesh. Many times in the Scripture it says, "As it is written" or "from the Holy Scriptures."
Psa 12:6 The words of the LORD
are pure words: as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified
seven times.
Psa 12:7 Thou shalt keep them, O LORD, thou shalt preserve them from this generation for ever
God said that He would preserve His Words forever! It
is a simple matter of walking by faith.
John 5:39 Search the scriptures;
for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they
which testify of me.
The Apostle Paul writing to Timothy:
2Ti 3:14 But continue thou in the
things which thou hast learned and hast been assured of, knowing
of whom thou hast learned them;
2Ti 3:15 And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus. 2Ti 3:16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: 2Ti 3:17 That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.
Mat 22:29 Jesus answered and said
unto them, Ye do err, not knowing the scriptures, nor the power
of God.
Joh 5:46 For had ye believed
Moses, ye would have believed me: for he wrote of me.
Joh 5:47 But if ye believe not his writings, how shall ye believe my words?
It appears to me that the written Word of God is just as
important as the leading of His Spirit. One does not
deviate from the other. If you are looking for a verse
that states, "Thou shalt only read the King James Bible" then
I'm afraid it's not there. But, if you are looking to be
led by the Holy Spirit in search of truth, then the King James
Bible is the only one that is available to the English speaking
people that is free from errors. This is why we use it and
only it. The others are from corrupt Vatican texts that
were not recognized by the early churches, but the Greek
manuscripts that the King James Bible was translated from, were
recognized by the early churches. And since I don't speak Greek
as I live in America and speak English, I trust God who inspired
those 54 Holy men in the early 1600's, to translate His Words
into the English language for me. All other modern Bibles
have based their translations on the corrupt, fourth-century
Vaticanus, named after its Vatican guardianship, and the
Sinaiticus of Alexandrian origin.
The issue for us has been settled in our hearts and minds.
We will only use the King James Bible and worship God, who
preserved His Word for us, so we will not be willingly ignorant.
When the books are opened, it is those Words that we will be
judged by on Judgment Day so we better be sure we have the same
Words the early churches used and lived by to obtain their
salvation.
We are also in search
of others in our area who are willing to obey and live for God.
Thank you for your question and I hope that you will soon settle
this issue in your own heart and mind.
Striving to enter in,
Brother Bill
